Can I link multiple Amazon accounts to Merch Jar?
Yes! You can link and manage multiple Amazon ad accounts with your Merch Jar account. Each plan includes a specific number of ad accounts (Essentials: 10, Standard: 30, Premium: 50). If you exceed this limit, you can add more for $5 per account per month. Merch Jar will calculate ad spend and daily active ads across all the linked accounts.
How secure is my data?
We take data security seriously. Merch Jar uses industry-standard encryption and security protocols to protect your information and ensure your data is safe.
How does billing work?
After your 14-day trial, billing occurs monthly or yearly, depending on your plan. If you exceed your plan's usage limits—such as ad spend, active ads, or ad accounts—additional costs will be billed at the start of the next month. For those on a yearly plan, we'll bill you once a year for the base fee, but any overages will be billed monthly.
What are usage packages?
Usage Packages determine the limits and capabilities of your Merch Jar subscription plan. Each plan—Essentials, Standard, or Premium—comes with its own Usage Package, defining key aspects like the number of ad accounts you can manage, the maximum active ads allowed, and data retention periods. The Usage Package is tailored to meet the specific needs of different types of sellers, from startups to large-scale operations, ensuring you have the right tools and capacity for your business's growth.
What happens if I go over my ad spend limit?
If you exceed your plan’s ad spend limit, we’ll charge you a small percentage of the additional ad spend at the end of your billing cycle. For example, in the Standard plan, you’ll be charged 4% of any ad spend over the $7,500 limit. This overage charge ensures you can continue running ads without interruption, but it’s important to monitor your ad spend to avoid unexpected costs.
Is there a contract?
No. We believe our service speaks for itself. You'll want to stay because it works, not because you're tied down. Feel free to cancel anytime.
What happens if I cancel?
If you decide to cancel, you can:
1. Keep using Merch Jar until your current billing cycle ends. If you're on a monthly plan, we'll charge you for any overages at the end of that month. If you're on a yearly plan, we'll charge overages at the end of every month until your year ends.
2. Stop your plan right away to avoid more charges. You'll still get billed for any extra ad revenue and prorated daily active ads up to the day you cancel.
Please note: We don’t give partial refunds for the unused portion of your base subscription charge once you've already started your monthly or yearly subscription.
How do you calculate ad spend?
Ad spend represents the combined advertising spend from your campaigns across all linked ad accounts that Merch Jar manages. It’s derived from the 'spend' column in your Amazon Ads dashboard.
Each plan has a monthly ad spend limit. If you go over that, we'll charge you a small percentage of the extra ad spend. For example, with our Standard plan, you'll be charged 4% of any ad spend over the $7500 limit.
How are active ads calculated?
Active ads count ads that are enabled and “delivering” in all your Sponsored Products campaigns. We don’t count ads that are paused or archived, or if they’re enabled but in a campaign or ad group that is paused. We use an average daily count for the whole month to figure out billing. For example, if you have 1000 ads running for half the month and 500 for the other half, your average daily count is 750 ads.
Each plan's usage package allows a certain number of active ads every month. If you go over, you'll get charged $20 for every 100k ads over your limit.
